The urban figure of the elongated building, running from north to south, which consists of the various industrial halls, has a historical, urban and architectural charisma. This spatial image defining element should be preserved. Only the transitional buildings between the various industrial halls are replaced by higher new buildings, whereby the boiler house with its chimney in succession represents the district icon.
The western part of the quarter is built with blocks for different housing models. A special feature is the block of the old weaving mill. The base floor remains – also due to the massive construction – and is partly converted into a quarter garage. Above this, a building structure consisting of compound farmhouses for families is created.
