The discovery of Wenzhou Shomen Ancient Port Site fills in the key missing link of the port heritage of the Maritime Silk Road, and is a unique bearing of the integration of port and city of the ancient world maritime trade line. Starting from the three elements of "port, city and people", the programme integrates the site, the ancient city and the mountain and water, and puts forward the overall concept of a multi-scale, composite "port and city heritage area". On the one hand, based on the understanding of the community relationship of the elements of the site, a three-dimensional and diversified historical and cultural heritage exhibition belt is constructed, and its close connection with the "port area and urban area" is emphasised, so as to weave a "cultural exhibition park of the ancient port site" with multiple spatial and temporal slices, which is the evolution of the thousand years of Silk Road accumulation and development. On the other hand, in the "horizontal and spatial" section, the "cultural exhibition park of the ancient port site" is also shown. On the other hand, a three-dimensional exhibition community is constructed horizontally, vertically and even vertically, with six experiential clues to form an organic interaction between the "site exhibition area" and various related functions. Our design hopes to present a "clear morphological structure", fully reflecting the core concept of "integration of Hong Kong and the city, holistic protection and interactive development", and realising the synergistic development of cultural heritage and local economy, society and ecology.
