This urban design is located in Liulichang Area, Jinjiang District, Chengdu. In addition to the excellent blue and green ecological environment, the design scope also includes the old site of Liulichang kiln, which records the prosperity of kiln production and social economy in ancient times, the industrial remains of the gold factory, which highlights the glorious history of Chengdu's modern manufacturing industry, as well as the old Shengli Township, which is rich in the atmosphere of fireworks.
The design is based on the concept of "painting on the glaze", which includes history and ecology as the "glaze base" to form a large park chassis of Liuli Field, superimposed with three major "colours" of culture, industry and life. The design focuses on people, industry, cultural heritage and ecology, improves public services, enhances public space, and highlights cultural heritage, and in the future, it will attract five types of people: Z-era, tourists, business people, and young people in science and culture; and on top of the three basic community services for the residents, working people, and tourists, it will shape the theme of the community with cultural empowerment. It will reshape the relationship between the city and water, realising the close intertwining of the water system and urban life; at the same time, it will continue, weave and expand the ecological base pattern to build a complete ecological chassis.
