Along with the construction of Beijing-Kowloon High Speed Railway and Zheng-Ji High Speed Railway, and the formulation of a series of national strategies such as Xiong'an New Area, Jinan Demonstration Zone for Conversion of Old and New Dynamics, and Zhengzhou National Central City, Liaocheng High Speed Railway New Area, as a core hub linking the three areas, has brought new development opportunities to this ancient city.

In this design project, we will strive to take an international vision and forward-looking thinking to sort out the functional positioning and industrial spatial layout of the site, optimise the functional layout and spatial structure of the area; at the same time, we will establish an organic link between land use and traffic organisation, and construct a three-dimensional spatial form with an overall order. The programme takes "Jiangbei Lile Water City" as the design concept, inheriting the historical lineage of the ancient city on the one hand, continuing the ecological network base on the other hand, and undertaking the high-speed rail hub engine power to develop modern urban services and industrial services functions, so as to build a new water city with the integration of ecology, production and life in the future picture.
